Some pictures of a recent game involving British and Chinese naval forces. The game itself didn't work, but I thought you might like to see the pictures.

Indeed.

I also liked the Black Powder ACW write up on the blog.

Very nice report. I haven't seen Jacklex figures in decades. I never heard of Orion figures. Are these 20 mm scale?

Think I remember these ships from when you brought them to the Central London club. They look splendid. Ditto the figures and the terrain.

Yes, the ACW write up was good.

Hi Gentlemen
Many thanks for your kind words, they are much appreciated. I will make sure Jack Alexander who built these ships for scratch with cardboard and some home castings knows.

Yes Alan, these are the ships I brought to the club. Not sure if you ever saw all 3 of them. Was going to try the rules you use but they didn't cover 'junks' and I wasn't sure how to adapt them.

Bobgnar – Orion are a range of 20mm plastic figures they make a Boxer set with a few Imperial troops, the chaps in red and various peasant pose in it. The crew are also supplement by some HAT 20mm sailors from their British Sailors and Marines set. The gun crews are really useful as they are bare chested and just have head scarves.
