As the topic title notes, War Times Journal has a new "fighting tops" product. It is an accessory available in three sizes (small, medium, large) in SIX different scales. (1/3000, 1/2400, 1/1800, 1/1500, 1/1200, 1/1000).

Its basically a little doughnut with some appropriate detail, and (befitting a doughnut) a hole in the middle for a wire mast to go through. In responding to my e-mail on the topic, Jim at WTJ mentioned that the fighting tops are also tapered at the bottom -- although that cannot be seen in the top-down photo on his website.

These look great for placing on my otherwise simple wire masts, so I've ordered some in three sizes. I thought I should mention it here in the event others are interested too. They haven't arrived yet, so I don't have any installed examples to show.

Anyway, the relevant product pages at WTJ include wtj.com/wtj0100.html and wtj.com/product6124.html

No more trying to make my own from tubing? My order's going in ASAP!

Thanks for the heads-up!
