Electric keyboard, if only because I don't like it. I'm a traditionalist: 1 to 2 guitars, 1 bass, 1 (MASSIVE) drumset. Damon. |

Piano? Piano is awesome in rock youtu.be/3p4MZJsexEs I can't think of any instruments that can not be used well in rock! If the instruments is used in a appropriate way. None are bad. |

The tuba isn't popular, although it's been used by Taj Mahal and the Band, both of whose work is better than 90% of all recorded music. I'm not sure what the point of the question is, but it is filed under 'utter drivel', so that probably accounts for it. I've heard great accordion playing, wonderful banjo, and lots of lunk-headed drumming, dumb bass playing and grotesquely over-the-top guitar playing. |

Tull was GREAT! Saw them 3 times in the 70's. Aqualung, Thick as a Brick & Passion Play Tours. All were fantastic (that's how I remember them anyway!) |

It's all good. I agree with Gunfreak, they all can be played well. And like Mexican Jack, they all can be terribly misused and overplayed. |

There is no music so awful that the addition of cow bell can't make worse! |

People here say the harp and bagpipes are the least welcome instruments, but this song uses them both to good effect. YouTube link |

Someone needs to tell Billy Joel the piano is not suitable for Rock (which is wide ranging category) so he stops making so little money off his work. |

Exceptions may be made around the fringes of Country Rock but the Pedal Steel Guitar isn't exactly welcome in "Rock and Roll" these days. |

I have a bio of Marie Curie written by one of her daughters that does not characterize her relationship with Einstein the way lurid rumours do. It's a primary source (for part of her life), so it's not biased by sensationalism. But it's also her daughter, so it could be biased in other ways. Basically, given the obscene mental and physical time she put into her work, I can't imagine her having time or energy for liaisons. Marie Curie was freakin' awesome! |
