I've seen this posted before, as well as some other pics, and am wondering where the best place is to get inexpensive, Megablox, or their clone manufacturer's building blocks? TMP link eBay doesn't seem to be the answer, given the high costs there. Would like a good selection of different shaped parts. Garage sales, and/or flea markets would probably be ideal, but I don't have the time to look for them there. Thoughts? |

Do you mean MegaBlok the junior lego toy? Wal-Mart has an 80 piece starter set for about $13 USD…. |

Are those buildings with the blue windowns on the thread you linked to mega blox? Have never seen anything like that. |

Perhaps, EC. Not sure how it's really spelled, since I've seen multiple spelling variants on-line. Yes, Allen57, and they look superb. Apparently, the black "windows" are painted electrical tape, cut to size. |

Try aliexpress.com It is a Chineese site for them to sell all their awesome legitimate goods (ok pirated goods). And there are many lego knock-offs available. Worth a look. (although Thrift stores are a great idea) |

The only downside with AliExpress is that the shipping is sometimes more than the product! Although to be fair, plenty of vendors offer free shipping via "slow boat". |

For basic blocks, it's hard to do better than 1000 bricks for 30 bucks shipped. link You can probably go cheaper on Craigslist, or somesuch, but I realize you want to get it easily. This 500 for $20 USD pack might have more brick variety. link Good Luck. |
