Hi
I'm putting together some DBA style armies for wars in China.
Which French and British troops would be involved -sepoys, sailors, Zouaves, Highlanders???
Any links and info welcome.
I'm going with 28mm.

Thanks

To which you can add Fayne's and Probyn's units of Indian cavalry -irregulars and lance armed I think. There were British Heavy Dragoons too. A full list would be good to see.

I've seen both haverlocks and bell shako's for the British regulars.

@ mashrewba,

Check the Nafziger orders of battle collection.
There are OB for many of the British columns in China.

Cheers,

There is mention of two infantry regiments and some chasseurs but I'm assuming there must have been more than that to make up a force of 7000.
Mind you if the French line regiments were fielding 3 battalions each that would be about right.
I'll use Zouves and Turcos anyway because thats what you do if you collect French 19th century armies :)
