I was kidnapped and forced to participate in week long birthday party in middle of nowhere between deep forests. But I taked my figures with me and have some progress.

Oh those are looking very promising!! I will be wanting a bunch of these when they are done, pluss the new Murats (since I already only have 5 myself;). Pluss sone of your horses when they are done. Oh, and all the French personalities for Borodino on your schedule (Make Junot in full Hussar dress, pleeeaaase!) Keep it up Sho, dont let silly things like a social life stop the good work;) Dr J |
von Winterfeldt | 17 Oct 2016 1:46 a.m. PST |
very good progress, please check the shape of the sabre – it was not straight but slightly curved |
Sho Boki | 17 Oct 2016 3:24 a.m. PST |
You mean NCO sabre? Yes, this is without wire and plastic seemingly bended by his weight before hardening. This sabre is not connected with leg and "hang on air". I standardized my horses and they are not fully compatible with my older mounted men. But all troopers, maked by this standard, will probably be compatible with all horses from other producers. |

What is best markings for sets of different height of troops? Tallest men (180cm): T – tall or L – large? Average men (170cm): A – average or M – medium? Shortest men (160cm): S – short or S – small? |

On next week first set will be available. T-set. Officer, flagbearer, NCO and 6 troopers. A-set follow immediately. Mounted officer, officer, drummer, NCO and 6 troopers. These two sets together may form one Emperor rules Unit. For other rules additional troopers from first moulds will be available separately, with parade and campaign outfit. Also new set of Austrian Dragoons will available and last Murat is on table for finishing. I waited and waited, but fresh mould silicone shipment from Germany, ordered in April and initially promised in September, again delayed and promised now in November. So I use old silicone and hope for best. For Dragoons it worked normally. |

excellent – is this for grenadiers ? There I do spot a mousetache at the NCO? |
Sho Boki | 03 Nov 2016 5:23 a.m. PST |
No, these are from average height troopers set. Should I remove NCO moustaches? |
von Winterfeldt | 03 Nov 2016 6:43 a.m. PST |
in case – only grenadiers did wear mousetaches, even officers so if that is a fusilier NCO – I would opt without mousetache |

Von W, would I be correct in thinking that these could be painted in blue uniforms as well as white? I'm sure I read that the 9th Demibrigade wore these helmets up 1798? Sho, these look fantastic. Well done! |
desmondo | 05 Nov 2016 10:18 a.m. PST |
These look great. I hope you will have these available soon |
Chad47 | 05 Nov 2016 12:24 p.m. PST |
I am waiting for those in trousers to add a few to my volunteer units. |

von Winterfeldt | 06 Nov 2016 7:12 a.m. PST |
very interesting officer, several items to ponder about saddle cloth - should be square in my view holsterflaps - as for heavy cavalry size of boots they look a bit out of scale (too big) in my view |
Sho Boki | 06 Nov 2016 8:06 a.m. PST |
Saddle cloth and holster flaps are from Patrice Courcelle. Terry Crowdy "French Revolutionary Infantry 1789-1802". Plate C, Line Infantry Field officer, 2e regiment, 1791. Plate D, Light Infantry Captain, 1er Bataillon, 1791. Boots are heavy, I agree. |
von Winterfeldt | 06 Nov 2016 11:11 a.m. PST |
Thanks for the response, Courcelle, though an excellent artist – is not contempoary, for the light infantry the dress regulations of 1786 give "ARTICLE 12. On the Horse Furniture for the Officers of Horse Chasseurs. THE saddle & different parts & appendages which depend on it, will be, for the Officers, of the same designs as those for the horses of the Chasseurs. The shabraque will be in green broadcloth, trimmed around the periphery by a edging of festooned broadcloth, of the distinctive colour for each regiment; & edg " So it is the same as officers for Chasseurs a Cheval For officers of the line, I couldn't find the text regulations – I will try to find more information.
For the boots, I maybe made a misunderstanding statement, English riding boots are perfectly accepatable, but your boots and feet look oversize not 1 / 100 scale |
Sho Boki | 06 Nov 2016 3:58 p.m. PST |
Actually Courcelle show ancient regime saddle cloth and holster flaps. Louis XV infantry officers have such equipment in first half of century. So this may be not necessarily wrong. |
von Winterfeldt | 07 Nov 2016 5:25 a.m. PST |
true – but how did the saddle cloth look like in Ancien Regime of LVI – see the regulations of 1786. |

Sho Boki | 07 Nov 2016 4:40 p.m. PST |

Sho Boki | 11 Nov 2016 4:29 a.m. PST |
Casquetted line infantry in trousers are ready long ago. I make them available on weekend, together with line infantry command sets. Last mould goes to owen right now. Light infantry, grenadiers and Legions are on sculpting table. |

Do you have any idea when advancing figures in trousers would be available? |
von Winterfeldt | 01 Dec 2016 7:15 a.m. PST |
buy meanwhile some in breeches and gaiters, I will mix my infantry in true revolutionary style with both possibilities |
Chad47 | 01 Dec 2016 9:50 a.m. PST |
I already have figures in breeches and gaiters and want figures in trousers to mix with my volunteer units |
Sho Boki | 01 Dec 2016 12:26 p.m. PST |
But they are available already. Labeled as Campaign Troopers. Ones with gaiters are labeled as Parade Troopers. If you mean under "advancing" my usual trooper poses. |
Chad47 | 01 Dec 2016 12:31 p.m. PST |
Sho, I am looking for figures that do not have shouldered weapons, but with lowered weapons. |
Sho Boki | 01 Dec 2016 12:55 p.m. PST |
There will be the Markers set with action figures and casualties, but only 3 tall master dolls are ready yet. I will sculpt these together with Austrian Jägers, as all Jägers will be action figures. So these troops are mostly next year business. |
Sho Boki | 30 Mar 2017 9:37 a.m. PST |
A little appetizer.. Grenadiers and legeres or foreign legions.
