Here is the link to the 375 photos I took over all the five gaming sessions. I was playing in games as well and certainly do not represent that I photographed every game. Far from it: there were many wonderful presentations of the best of our hobby. What follows are what I think are my favorite shots of the games, the figures, and the friends having fun:
If you want to download the full-sized photos (they are rather large) for non-commercial use send me a private message and tell me who you are and why you need the photo (example: it was your game) and I'll send you the password to enable the full-size download tool. The photos are "sort of" in order of the events list you can download here: PDF link

Good looking games. But, I've got to know, what was the deal with that Barbie house? |

I have no clue: I just took the photos. There were fantasy games in one of the rooms but I would not begin to suggest the rule system. They had a painting competition and the winners were very well done albeit there were some "unusual" themes. Some of our traditional historical gamers were soliciting commission painting from this up and coming generation of wargamers. Some really good stuff:

The Barbie picture was of a display board for an army from the Kings of War tournament. The boards are used in the painting competition. It was great to see many old friends again and play in some great games, Really enjoyed playing the "Siege of Berber" colonial game and Bon Moon's "Brother Against Brother" skirmish. |

The Barbie pic reminds of the time (about 20 years ago) a doll hobbyist magazine mistakenly published my phone number as having Barbie sets for sale. I was inundated with calls, including one woman who was certain I was lying and just didn't want to sell to her. I changed my phone message to say I had no Barbie sets but if they wanted to buy some toy soldiers we could talk. |
