So here's a new book put out by a former, high-ranking, British general on the topic of WWIII. Sort of like General Hackett's book, but with a campy story???

I will admit that Hackett's book was pretty boring as it was very hardware based. This book sounds character based, and the review above was a lot of fun to read.

Maybe it's time for a Team Yankee rewrite???

I'd be more impressed with these Generals if they criticised spineless politicians and lack of defence resources whilst they were still serving, instead of contributing to the posture that everything is ok and 'the lads have everything they need"

Well said, N417. Too bloody true.

Tgunner, about the Team Yankee rewrite, I got a notice from On Military Matters, that they will have a revised Team Yankee in a couple of weeks.

I didn't realise we had imported "don't ask, don't tell".
