Very nice painting.

I am a bit puzzled by the GNW label on this and other posts though; are they from a time before the distribution of uniforms in the Russian army?

Thanks for the feedback. I can see what you mean. The figures were a commission for a large GNW collection and the painting instructions were from the client. I can imagine their force could cover a wide period, as well as having some 'Irregular' units.
