Hello, all,

For my latest, I wanted to create two units based on the below illustration of Schleswig Holstein Volunteers from the 1st S-H War:

I again went with Perry Miniatures for consistency with the other figs I've used. I picked out the figures wearing the 1839 pattern caps in the Perry Miniatures ACW61 "Early Confederate Infantry" set (I'll use the leftovers in Sicilian caps perhaps as Garibaldists in another project, but that's another story).

Here they are below.

Those work beautifully!

Agree with all above, really beautiful work, made even more cool by the obscure nature of the campaign! Really look forward to following along as this great project develops!

Thanks, guys,

I'm just about to the stage where I will be able to playtest my system (sufficient figures and close to completed first draft of rules). These repurposed figures and minor conversions have just about covered the gaps in the available figures.

The next conversion/repurposed figures will be for Danish cavalry.

Some day, I hope to get a blog together. Until then, I'll just keep cluttering up the TMP boards.

Best,
Ed M
