If a 1/600 ironclad means a model in 1/600 scale then maybe a 10mm ironclad means a model in 10mm scale!!! The rationale for 10mm is that you can do land/water combined actions.
As per earlier posts, Joe Burgess, when we were partners in Old North State Figure Company, sold some of my models. Later Throughbred had a license to sell the ships for three years, then Old Glory for five years. Old Dominion Game Works had a license to sell the land line. Most of the builings were later sold for a brief period by Hornet's Nest.
I now have the models (40+ ships), as well as an expanded figure line (almost all in new molds) which includes sailors and marines (60+ sets), the buildings (40+ including out buildings), and gun emplacements/heavy shore artillery(4 guns and 13" mortar).

I'm still kicking myself for not buying some buildings from you at Historicon years ago! Will you be there this year?

10mm is a measurement, not a scale. A 1/200 figure might be around 10mm tall.

Oh no! :O
Somebody better tell Bill!

He would be 2 metres tall! I think they are more commonly equated to either 1:150 or 1:144.

Yes, tell us more. You can't toss out a bone without telling us how to order! :)

Jim, you are back! Time for me to start adding to my collection again. Also, I want to give a shout out for how nice you were to provide those free models to the winner at my fall-in game awhile back.

Sorry for the delay in responding. At one time I had a Miniatures Page acccount but it lapsed. When I signed up again it allowed me to post the first message but not respond to any comments until three days had passed.

I will not be going to Historicon this year. I spent 20 years sitting in the dealer's room and that is enough. HMGS has also become much more bureaucratic and I technically might not qualify as a dealer since I do not do figures as a semi-real business anymore.

Anyone interested in more information, price lists, pictures of the models, etc can email me at jbmodelships@windstream.net
