All, I have been enjoying painting Mike Broadbent's wonderful Toy Town figures. Here are some photos of the first units. I based the uniforms roughly on those of the First Schleswig War. link Nick |

They are great,Nick! And oh so tempting! Do you use gloss paints,or just a gloss sealer? |

Those look great! I like the buildings also. Well done. |

I went with a very minimalist look for the buildings in keeping with the figures. Most are built up from a single piece of cardboard, then a roof added. I was trying to capture the "Little Wars" look. |

Nice. What are you using for rules? |
nnascati | 25 May 2016 4:16 a.m. PST |
I have a couple possibilities for rules, Howard Whitehouse's Gentleman's War, Bob Cordery's Portable Wargame, and the small unit version of TSATF. |
