Great Hall Games – Haven't been to their new location yet – but they have a nice selection of Essex and other miniatures, lots of games and reference materials

Sundays from Noon – 6 is for Historical Miniature gaming

Any chance they carry GHQ naval?

Is Great Hall Games still functioning under new ownership?

Yes, GHG is still functioning, but it's moved to a new location.

Last I checked, they had GHQ naval stuff, but that was a while ago.

I loved GHG when I was in Austin 5 years ago. I don't recall any others in town.

GHG has no GHQ or other naval miniatures on hand at this time. They will happily order them for you. There is a keen group of naval gamers who meet there playing games from Napoleonics to WW II. We're doing the Battle Cruiser action from Jutland the 29th of May with the Battle Ship phase on the following Sunday.

Thank you all… I will plan on stopping in at GHG…

I think they may even be close to where I am going to be (Austin Energy)

Dragons lair is more fantasy but is huge and well worth a visit. dlair.net/austin

I know you asked about game stores but there's also King's Hobby. More models, paints and railroad but some games (no gaming that I know of) too as I remember.

King's Hobby also had GHQ the last time I was there. But that has been awhile…..

Kings Hobby is a sad shadow of its former self insofar as being a game store. They don't have much of anything game-wise anymore. They seem to be concentrating mostly on kit models and model trains.
