I am starting a project of putting my 28mm Perry ACW battle in a Box together, with a view to getting a 28mm game onto a smallish table. I will be doing a number of posts that will look at the Perry box from a 'starter set' perspective, so using the Perry rules and looking at painting times etc. The first blog post can be found HERE. link |

I absolutely love the Firepower Rules. The older I get the more I like simpler rules. That said, I think Firepower does a great job incorporating the garbled communications inherent in 19th century warfare by making you roll for distance when it comes to movement. It simplifies what Black Powder does with a similar result. Thanks for the post. |
