So I'd only planned to just have a look at some new figures in 54mm (a scale I haven't played with since I was a child) and before I knew it, I'd started a whole new project. More details here on my blog…. link |

:) awesome ! Very disappointed I couldn't make it this year, and it's only just up the road. Then again there will be the toy soldier show June 4th. Lots of plastic goodness there as well ! |

Unfortunately I'm away in Glasgow that weekend…probably just as well or I'd end up buying more stuff! |

I hate when that happens:-) If you need some simple rules check out this group. link Best of luck and I'm looking forward to painted minis on your blog. |

I hate it when that happens… now I get into periods because people GIVE me figures from their lead mountain they figure they'll have no time for! That's how I started my 15mm Napoleonic Prussians and 28mm War of the Roses. |

Call me a cynic, but sure it was an "accident". I suspect your psyche has been plotting this for some time, without you being aware of it. |

Also tempted – they are selling them in my local model shop which makes them even harder to resist and with the new Osprey colonial skirmish rules due out…. |

Well done on joining in 54mm Colonials – Anthony and I already have a large AIP collection for Northwest Frontier. Let us know when you want to play a game at Guildford… Mike |

Hi Mike. I've seen you and Anthony's figures..they may have helped tip me over the edge! I'll have to get painting and join you. |

@Green Tiger…yes, the new Osprey rules look very tempting. Sharp Practice 2 should be easily stretched to the late 19th Century too. |
