Hello folks, the North Atlanta Gamers (affectionately referred to by me as NORTHAG) will meet on Saturday, May 21 to re-fight these two battles in 28mm. We will use Regimental Fire & Fury. The sculpted terrain boards are still in a warehouse in Florida so I had to use mats. However, it still came out well. The castle was custom-made for me by Tom Milmore a number of years back. Here are a few choice shots. My Facebook page has an album with a few more.

Sorry about the post on the 18th century gallery. I blame my 55 year old eyes. It was meant for the 19th century gallery. |

I remember playing and helping run some of those Bill. You always had the best figures and terrain. Eric |

We still remember your Chapultepec game at one of the Orlando conventions some years back as one of the greatest convention games ever. Rick |

General Moreno, could you give us a link to your pics? Your facebook ( which I hardly use) has only you 10s everywhere. |

link Try the link above. It is on my personal page, not on Good Ground Miniatures, which is indeed, almost all about my 10s. |

Done. Very inspiring. Had hundreds of the same once, sold the whole lot; too much weight and space in 28 mm, not enough battle depth. Might redo in 18 mm one day. Chapiltepec is top notch. |

El Castillo de Chapultepec! I've been to the real one! Holy cow, do I miss Mexico City… |

ACWBill: Wrong place or not the pictures are great. I find the MAW war to be very interesting. Puts me to mind of some great MAW games I was fortunate enough to be involved in about 20 years ago. Love your Chapultepec!! Thanks for the photos, John Miller |

In honor of your wonderful photos, and the joy they've given me, I poured lime juice on the pork roast I had for lunch today. See, 'cause Mexicans, man, we put lime on everything. |

Lime is good in everything but beer. As Norm said to Sammy, "Ya know Sammy, nothing says class like a lump'o fruit in yer beer"! |

For Brian W I'm working up toward a series of MAW games with my 15mm collection of about 2,000 figures using the Piquet-Hallowed Ground rules. Our gaming group uses Piquet-Cartouche for many rousing games of Seven Years War, and also Piquet-Din of Battle for many rousing games on the Maximilian Adventure. Once we've played a few MAW games by around July or so, I'll provide a report. Our group really enjoys the Piquet rules. Also, once we get the MAW series going, we're going to take a look at adapting the Piquet-Barrage rules to the Mexican Revolution. Enjoy your games. Jan |

That's look wonderful! Although I do admit for a minute there I almost thought it was The Alamo! |
