I am considering the purchase of an airbrush after many years of hearing their virtue extolled and heard iwata is very good. I imagine I'll use it for priming miniatures and painting buildings, terrain. Any advise on the choice of airbrush?

I got a lot of useful information here when I was thinking about getting one and then starting to use it:

Good advice in that thread. Iwata Neo is what I'd recommend as a starter brush because it's a great value and small pitch, with a mind to buying a better one down the line, like something from Iwata's Revolution line.
