Is there anyone, or indeed any clubs interested in historical wargaming within the Stirling area. Just started work at the Bannockburn visitor centre, meaning reaching my normal gaming venue in Glasgow has become slightly problematic. Periods I am interested in include Late Mrdieval/Wars of the Roses, WW2, 1/72 Napoleonics and 1/3000 Napoleonic Naval, both sides for Jacobite Rebellion in paper and a constantly growing collection for ECW. Rulesets I use include Lion Rampant, Pike and Shot, Liber Tercios, WAB ECW, En Garde, Neil Thomas Napoleonics, Bolt Action, but am willing to play and learn many more sets besides. Would be really interested in hearing anyone interested and hope to hear back from wargamers in the Stirling area soon. |

Have you been to common ground games? You could ask there. |

There's a club in nearby Falkirk, 20 minutes away. |

I'm in Perth and have much the same problem. Would like to get to clubs in the local area but can never get the time. |

The Stirling club sed to do Historicals although it's been about 8 years since I played there. If however they do not suit for any reason I would highly recommend the Falkirk club. Great bunch of guys with a very friendly and welcoming outlook. I hope you get something sorted out soon. Faman |

Falkirk people seem very nice….pity about the new Bannockburn Centre is n't it? Especially the peculiar wargame and the weird fantasy outfits for the staff. |

Is there not a wargame club at Stirling University? I'm pretty sure there was one in the past and you probably would n't have to be a student to join it if it still exists. |

Apparently one of the Stirling pubs has a wargame group – do you want me to see if I can track it down? |
