Hi, I just recently purchased this model for a steal and am waiting for it to arrive. I would like to know if anybody else has built this model by this company and if so was it an easy build? Also when it comes to the main gun batteries are they easy to assemble? I've had Japanese models in the past and each barrel had to be glued separately to the front of the turret and I hated that because it was a pain in the behind to get them lined up correctly. Would appreciate anything you can tell me about it. Thanks

I haven't built this myself however the Iowa Class, indeed all of the US Fast Battleships had guns that were independent of one another as regards elevation, so not having them all perfectly aligned is not a problem. Depending on how detailed you want to go there are add on conversions like this;

which, while it is for a different kit might help.
