I think this is very cool. GW has been returning to some of its roots and is interacting with the hobby community again, which is awesome. I think this is a huge step in the right direction for them, in addition to their Hobby Blog.

It's great to see them bringing back opportunities for gamers and hobbyists to share their work and connect this way.

I have gotten really ticked off at certain Youtube channels and other websites that are constantly analyzing GW and saying they know better than GW how to run their company. Even worse, is that these channels always want to talk about how GW never communicates or interacts with the hobby or gaming community. This Flickr page has been up for quite a while, several years actually, but those channels and analysis websites seem to conveniently ignore that it exists.

Of course, the usual naysayers on here will criticize GW for doing this, and of course they are the same people who previously criticized them for NOT doing it. Give them credit where credit is due please.

GW can run their company anyway they choose. Whether they stay relevant to what gamers want is their choice too. Its not the inspirational company that it once was- I remember in the 90's looking at photos of terrain especially, trying to figure out how they made that and duplicating it for my table.

Upload your Games Workshop hobby into out Flickr pool

I waste my time in a hobby called "wargaming with miniatures". If there is a "Games Workshop hobby" it exists only in the minds of GW and its trolls.
