I was wondering with all the computer graphics programs out there… Has anyone created a 3D Model with seated marines inside the Rhino's passenger area. Answering the age old question of how does 10 fully equipped marines with support weapons fit into the Rhino APC. Does such an imagine exist? Just wondering Thanks |

They for sure can't get their bases in there. |

You just have to have a fantastic thought! |

They can all fit, but some might have to sit on each-other's laps… Damon. |

They can't fit but GW does not care about that. |

And evidently neither do the players. |

It's a Clown Car. All matters of space and time become irrelevant. |

It's the 40K version of TARDIS, although a drop pod would be a more apt comparison. |

Let's hope nobody farts in there. |

Someone once did it as a real life modelling project with the plastic kit and 10 of the original plastic wobble marines, they made it fit but I don't know if the new models would fit the same. Robert |

It would be fun project just to see how many could fit in there. similar to the dreamforge image here.
I think you may get five in there if you assume a central bench style seating similar to the Russian BTRs

Even though the new Rhino model has seats, I always envision them as standing. They have magnetic feet, and they could fit standing upright side by side in two rows of five better than sitting. Besides, sitting isn't very Marine like I don't think… Standing upright with magnetic soles engaged means they could move out immediately. |

Looking at an interior shot, the benches actually look like they could be ammo storage. |

This discussion was going on when the first rhino models rolled out; it would have been a tight fit IF it the hull was completely hollow, just like the plastic model. The Land raider was worse- IIRC, without the tread units, the hull was even smaller. Wasn't that supposed to haul five terminators? |

Sergeant Major Escher runs gruelling drills during training to teach the Marines how to fit into one of htose. |

Not to hard to figure out. Just consider all vehicle models for 40k as representative, may or may not be actual scale. |

I can assure you in real life in the military if the vehicle capacity was for nine they will make more fit in even if it means losing circulation to your limbs… |

You have to stack them like spoons. |

Not to hard to figure out.Just consider all vehicle models for 40k as representative, may or may not be actual scale. …And space marines are not 1:20. Any type of playscale, largely SOP in 'serious' wargames, are an anathema to 40K. Sorry, they don't get a pass. Except maybe marine sergeants & officers with invisible helmets. |

Oh and driver and gunner are not part of the ten. |

Use a multi-melta. Then all ten fit in the ashtray. :D Imperial armour covered it in vol2 years ago, though.

Usually our squad or section leader rode up top in AAV and when we complained about a tight fit, he had the driver hit the breaks. |
