I placed an order in mid April with The Assault Group, and got a receipt and everything. It has almost been a month, and nothing has arrived. I've emailed them twice now, and they have not yet replied. Has this happened to anyone else, and if so, how was it resolved? I'm starting to get rather concerned, since the other time I've ordered from the Assault Group, I received my items within a week with no issues.

Mid-April = Salute, yes?
…aka the UK's biggest convention weekend of the year.

So, you think it was lost? Or they haven't gotten around to it yet?

I'm also seeing a delay in delivery from a well known British miniatures manufacturer who has always given excellent service. I suspect that there may be some issues in US Customs slowing things down.

Ok, I was wondering about that. Which manufacturer was it, by chance?

Rich Bliss10 May 2016 4:02 p.m. PST

Foundry. And As I said, I've ordered plenty from them in the past with no issues. I'm going to give it another couple of weeks before I go investigating as it's just at the six week limit this Friday.

I started a similar thread a few weeks ago but cannot find it again.

The outcome was I contacted TAG by using the message function on Facebook and got an immediate reply.

They said that they were overwhelmed with orders at the moment and sent me replacement packs straight away.

TAG has given me consistently excellent service. Just guessing but it could either be a convention, illness, or as someone mentioned above, customs. If your order was large, or if they just felt like messing with someone, they might have pulled it. I had experience with US Customs watching them in person, and heard time and again from a Customs Broker friend, the antics they pulled just to flaunt there power. It was senseless and disgusting. I could give examples but will simplify by saying it was a flagrant abuse of authority. In short they did what they did
because they could.

If the Assault Group is just busy, then I really hope that's why the package is so late. If it's US customs…I guess I'm screwed lol.

GARS190020 May 2016 8:51 p.m. PST

Well, the Package came. Many thanks to the Assault Group!

I have a year old history with TAG, and though sometimes stuff is delayed, they always sorted it out. I give them my highest rating.

Are there any stockists in USA left?
