Got my crew designed, cut and painted in time and on board for my Wooden Wars "take the Shore fort" game at Kublacon game convention.
With three head variations and 7 arm variations, you can get a pretty decent mix. I'll no doubt add a few more scruffy headed variations to the roster at some point.
For more pics and sea Shanties, swing your jib towards my blog skullandcrown.blogspot.com cheers, and thanks for looking! |

Very nice looking troops and vessels! I spy Tom Jones, the singer, there, armed with a cutlass. Nice touch on passing out the rum lifesavers too, to the boat crews. May have to borrow that. Thanks for sharing. |

Those are splendid. How big are they? Especially the ship? |

Mako- Yes, please do pass out the "grog"! 22nd Foot- My Wooden Wars soldiers measure 75mm from feet to eyes. With hats, shakos, plumes can get up to about 90mm. The Smeagol measures just shy of 2 feet (61cm) including bowsprit. Here's a picture for reference

Thanks for the measurements. Any chance one could be done in 28mm? |

22nd Foot- very kind of you to ask. If you are interested in 28mm ships, Matt over at laser dream works does a fantastic job. laserdreamworks.com Alternately, I did some resin 28mm ships a long while back for my Pirates! miniature battles on the high seas! game. Scale Creep miniatures now holds the rights to them, and sells them. scalecreep.com/catalog If nothing there suits your fancy, PM me and we can parley. Cheers Ths |

Lovely stuff! Any chance of any Victorian/Edwardian crew? How tall are the figures? |
Skull and Crown | 14 May 2016 9:11 a.m. PST |
Bozkashi,Thanks for your kind words. My Wooden Wars line of soldiers stand 75mm from foot to eye, and up to 90mm with big shakos, plummage, etc. I've not thought of doing any Victorian Sailors/crew at present, but I do have an entire line called "Queen Victoria's Robot Wars" where I do have Tesla gun crews. You can see pics here on my blog link
On the right in this picture, you can see the Gun crews. Not naval as such, but you get the idea. Cheers! Ths |
