It's strange, but this aesthetic is really growing on me. There was a time when I would absolutely reject this kind of hyped-up super high fantasy, I'm a staunch lover of low, gritty fantasy of classic Old World style. But I have to say that GW does high fantasy miniatures so well now, it just gets you excited to want to see them up close and paint them. Between the new Ironjawz Orruks and now these miniatures, I'm very impressed with the level of detail that GW has been able to achieve in its plastics. I most likely will not play a game like Silver Tower, dungeon quest-type games are just not my thing. But man, these miniatures are worth owning I think just to display! And there's no reason they couldn't be used as heroes/generals/monsters characters in games of AOS or classic Warhammer. |

Of possible interest? None at all. This just looks like another one of their bring out a game for some quick cash influx. I.E. put out the initial game and nothing else afterwards. They are a bit late since there are other games that gone the way of kickstarter that will be out soon or are already out and being supported. Oh and GW will never go with Kickstarter because giving away more stuff without charging through the nose for it is something that they will never do. |

Heya Mithmee, expansions have already been announced. You'll love this one. It's a 4-hero set that retails for $55. USD
Which actually, at $55 USD, it makes it not only cheaper than 4 Warhammer Quest expansions from 1995 ($15 each in 1995 dollars), it makes it half the price when you adjust them for inflation (4 Warhammer Quest 1995 characters are about $93.76 USD in today's dollars) |

"Oh and GW will never go with Kickstarter because giving away more stuff without charging through the nose for it is something that they will never do." GW won't do kickstarter because they know it will kill any retail interest in the product kickstarted. How well is dread ball selling at your local FLGS? |
