Getting back to this project on a rainy Sunday. Painting up some different units from the mass of Armies in Plastic.

Great stuff. I need to get back on track with my 54mm AWI as well. Are the flags by ATKM?

Aren't the A Call to Arms Figures noticeably smaller and slighter than the AIP models?

The flags are home made. Yes the Call to Arm are smaller than AIP. I build up the base a bit to make them the same height and keep them to their own units. They were the only plastics in hunting shirts I could track down. they are "close enough for government work" The only figures I bought that are just grossly out of whack are the MPC colonials. The pictures looked promising for making flag bearers and such. Unfortunately they are even smaller than the CtA figures. The ones I bought will be made into casualty markers.

Joe, MPC are 45 mm and are no good for your purposes. You want to grab a pack of Marx Boonesboro figures, which you can head (or hat) swap and make riflemen and frontier AWI guys.

A couple of Classic Toy Soldier Alamo defenders are another source.
