Hi,

Does anyone know of any resources on the internet which provides uniform and flag information for Austrian and Imperial Army during the Great Turkish War and Nine Years' War?

I gather that the majority of troops wore grey with cuffs and stockings in a facing color, and that officers and drummers wore reversed colors, and that the cuirassier regiments wore buff or grey coats, also with cuffs in a facing color. But I'd like to know what the uniforms worn by artillery and dragoons were, if other colors were also used by Austrian infantry regiments, and what the designs of the flags were.

Thanks!
Dave

The Robert Hall WSS plates go back to the 1680s. If the information is available at all, it will probably be there.

Officers wore pretty much what they wanted, with sashes to denote command.

Thanks, Bdweeks! I have seen the various plates individually, but when I tried to get to the root menu, it was apparently an older one. This is just what I'm looking for!
