This conversion spruces down these shiny, very identical bridges into something that would look good spannin' a crick back home. |

Hmm, nice. Do they make those bridges in 15mm? |

Very creative! It seems stone bridges are quite easy to find for 28mm, but wooden bridges far less so. Yours would look good for AWI, ACW, and Samurai battles too. |

Putting fur on the bridge, that is simply a bridge too fur! |

You might like these: Yes, but the plastic ones are much cheaper! |

I'd have probably taken sprue cutters to the poles above the first rail, but otherwise those are fantastic! |

Thanks, all. There are tons of different size and style bridges in the aquarium (and occasional terrarium) section of pet stores (brick and mortar as well as online), and something is always on sale. I'm sure you could find a good fit for most scales with a little patience and a lot of creeping the aisles. Despite the fact that I was a bit disappointed when I first got the Pegasus river, after a couple years, I love it! I don't even remember what my misgivings were. It is easy to set up and configure, and is a good distance (6" bank to bank) for wargaming. I use it all the time now. I considered shortening the rails on these. First, because of the serious materials involved, it would have taken metal shears (which I have) and effort. But really, I am saving these to make a covered bridge roof as a future project. Maybe something like The Bridges of Miskatonic County… |
