Ulfsark Games sent a set of their anodized aluminum Dragon Scales dice -- and these dice look very, very nice. For the diceophiles, the process of aluminum anodizing allows a vibrant eye-catching metallic color. You may be familiar with their color on metal objects such as carabiners. Anodizing increases the thickness of the natural oxide layer on the surface of metal parts by passing a direct current through an electrolytic solution, with oxygen released at the surface of the aluminum anode. This creates a build-up of aluminum oxide. Anodizing is usually perfomed in an acidic solution, forming a coating of nanopores on the metal surface. The surface can be filled with colored dyes before sealing. (Wiki)
Dragon Scales dice themselves are 15mm and range from the standard d4 to d20 (d4, d6, d8, d10, d12, d20, d00). The size of the dice are pretty conventional, although the d20 is smaller than other d20 dice I've seen. Since the dice made of aluminum, they're not distractingly heavy compared to plastic and wooden dice. But, when rolled in the hand, they have a nice heft to them that non-metal dice don't have. The dice are themed, with stylistic designs and numbers that are easy to read (though on the small side for the d20). The Techo d6 looks particularly good, replacing numbers with a hex-based design. Unfortunately, while the dice were wrapped in bubble wrap, some of the dice were scratched, as a result of transit. (Ulfsark Games says they will personally pack the dice in the future.) The dice should not otherwise scratch with play.

Set: Gearpunk – purple (with Techno d6)
d4: Gearpunk – light red
d6: Elven – light blue
d8: Roman – dark green
d10: Celtic – dark blue
d12: Dwarven – black
d20: Dwarven – red
d00: Techno – light green

As of this writing, Ulfsark Games will be launching an anodized aluminum Dragon Scales KS in a few weeks. The company has run two successful aluminum dice KS, the first in middle 2014, and second in late 2014. Ulfsark Games has also funded a metal coin KS. They will also be releasing Taiyo Dynasties, a miniatures line of feudal Japan-themed anthropomorphic animals and skirmish rules. Their Facebook is :
