Yes, Tango, Nice! Armand, I think it is because not many have seen , or know of, the availability of 20mm SYW figures in metal. Also, the paint jobs are more of an older style that the younger crowd probably does not appreciate. These are "classic" to me. Too bad more are not still available.
Another issue: Denis is interested in completing the French army. While it is always nice to see complete army offerings, who makes the opposition in that scale of comparable style and at what price point? Is it a hobby or a business? Such approaches indicate more of a hobby approach than a business one. (Hi, I'm making these figures for myself but will be hapopy to sell you some if you like them…) Such talent should be encouraged to design figures based upon what the customers want, too.
I remember when a company I worked for in 92 brought out 6mm SYW Prussians. He was disappointed in the sales response. I asked him "Well, who will they fight? SYW Prussian Civil War?" After the release of the 6mm Austrian opponents, sales took off!
