Is that a Cigar Box DBA mat and terrain? Thanks for the post.

Congratulations on the very successful tournament. Ten players where there were none last year. DBA is getting very popular in the Midwest. Later this month there will be a DBA event at drums along the maumee near Toledo. Check the DBX board for details.

That is a very clever battlefield. It looks to be cigarbox material on top of a solid Base that allows it to be rotated. A design flaw with cigarbox is that they cannot be rotated on the table that is narrower than the diagonal of the battlefield. Of course cigarbox does not make an actual DBA battlefield. They make a conjoined Desert and Prairie terrain that must be cut up. They do make some nice terrain pieces as shown in the picture. Woods dunes Hills Roads Rivers etc. they make battlefields of so many situations, I wonder why they cannot make just a simple 2 ft.² DBA Mat?

I also wonder why they put images of stones among the trees in the otherwise very nice forest piece.
