Friday Night Bolt Action!!

picture

Martin Zamarripa and I played a Bolt Action game Friday night at Dragon's Lair San Antonio, Texas.

Martin plans to field his Japanese army for the Pacific War tournament on 14 May at TableTop games. We palyed a 750 pt battle. I fielded my Russian "horde" army of conscripts (inexperienced troops). This game ended ugly for the Russians!!

All was going well until Mr UncleBobGoesToTexas showed up and took over the dice drawing duties. My 17 red dice vs the 9 Japanese dice failed to be drawn 4 straight pulls, leading to disasture – I blame Rob!!!

The Japanese Banzi was unbeatable as Martin played magnificently. The game was capped off when his light mortor fell through the hatch of my BA-6 armored car (I also blame this on Rob).

A great couple of games on a rainy Friday night at the Lair!!

Note the final "scalp" count at the end of the game – not a good night for the Russians……..

Not enough people play Russians vs. Japanese.
