Kind of late to the dance, as this title was released over a year ago!

I got my copy last year (preordered). Some TMPers may recall me putting on a Tuyuti game at a couple of the HMGS East conventions.

Hmmmm…maybe it's time to get those bad boys out for another outing.

Our local group twice fought Tuyuti with BBB rules and 10mm figures. Both times the Paraguayans took huge casualties and lost badly. So pretty historical results.

John, I played in your HMGS game and had a blast. I was one of the Paraguayans and we lost…shocking I know.

"Borders of Blood is a well-presented set of wargames rules, specifically for Wargaming the Parguayan War of 1864 – 1870, dovetailing almost exclusively with the War of Triple Alliance figure range by Perry Miniatures.

Rulesets can either offer something so intriguing, inspiring, or unique that they cause you to venture into a new period – think SAGA, Sharp Practice, or Frostgrave – or they offer a service to gamers who are already ‘into' a period or conflict. Borders of Blood is definitely a solid entrant in this latter category."
