Hello I am putting together a couple of forces for East Africa WW1 using Hat 1/72 figures. I am looking to add a few armoured cars. I supect that 20mm or 1/72 may be too small and wonder if 1/64 might be better. If so any suggestions of make? I see there are no armoured cars on Mr Copplestone's web site any more. Does anyone else sell these? |

Everyone should have two. Always have a reserve. |

Or you could keep an eye out for a 'playworn' one of these

Even playworn it would be pricey. |

I suspect that 1/56 will be too large and out of scale side by side 1:72 Hat minis or other similar metal ranges (IT , Raventhorpe)… WW1 in Africa (both East and South West) is among my favourite period/army and is like, your, made out of Hat types plus some metals like IT, B&B and Raventhorpe..all mixing very well..i have 2 Rolls armoured cars one from Raventhorpe the other from Riveresco ..plus some converted plastic toy stuff…those 2 armoured cars are perfectly in scale |

This might help decide:
The figure is 1:72 and the car is 1:56. link |

as i suspected the machine..close to the 1:72 figure..seem enormous and out of scale if comared with the real thing
