Now that Architects of War has gone the way of all business, who, if anyone, is handling US sales of Gripping Beast?

Rudysnelson29 Apr 2016 5:47 a.m. PST

Most retail stores can get it. I can, since there is a distributor. I have rocked it for years but never bought any from architects. The range is so large that I mostly special order them any more.

None I've found.

rhisiart29 Apr 2016 6:15 a.m. PST

There is some available from Brookhurst Hobby in California

Ordering direct has never been a problem.

I just placed an order direct with them they shipped on the 20th and I had it on my doorstep yesterday. Also, here in the States we get it at the non-vat price.

I don't know why everyone on the planet doesn't order from Caliver Books- free shipping everywhere!

I was told there was no longer a US distributor. As Thomas notes, their service from Britain to the US is fast although the shipping fee is hefty.

I couldn't get a search for "gripping beast" to turn up any hits at Brookhurst.

So weird. I just came on here to ask this very question. Shame abt AoA. I dealt w/ them for years, and had dozens of great interactions.
