I've just noticed that Gerry Chester's excellent North Irish Horse website northirishhorse.net is no longer available. Gerry Chester, a WW2 veteran, used to be a frequent contributor to many WW2 web fora (including this one), though I haven't seen him around for a few years and now. I do hope he's still with us. :( Did anyone here happen to save any of his pages? |

I too would like to know what has happened as my uncle fought in this regiment in Italy and it was very useful for research. |

Some pages look to be available on the waybackmachine for 2015 'captures', but not the photos. It looks like the domain name expired a little while ago. There is a northirishhorse.com still available. Also write ups from the war diaries at link Gary |
