I've just noticed that Gerry Chester's excellent North Irish Horse website northirishhorse.net is no longer available. Gerry Chester, a WW2 veteran, used to be a frequent contributor to many WW2 web fora (including this one), though I haven't seen him around for a few years and now.

I do hope he's still with us. :(

Did anyone here happen to save any of his pages?

I too would like to know what has happened as my uncle fought in this regiment in Italy and it was very useful for research.

Some pages look to be available on the waybackmachine for 2015 'captures', but not the photos. It looks like the domain name expired a little while ago. There is a northirishhorse.com still available. Also write ups from the war diaries at link
