…Middle East. " new Marine rotational force has landed in the Middle East as the U.S. ramps up the fight against Islamic State group militants. The final contingent of Special-Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force—Crisis Response—Central Command 16.2 departed Camp Pendleton, California, last week en route to the region to begin a nine-month deployment to directly and indirectly bolster Iraqi forces in their fight against ISIS. Members of 2nd Battalion, 7th Marines will be the ground combat element of the task force, with air support from squadrons of the 2nd and 3rd Marine Aircraft Wings. Well news to me is a Luchs by Flyhawk, just sitting here waiting for the Maco one to be released in June and another kit pops up. Bit like buses Luchs kits it seems. L |

They're just replacing Marine Task Force 16.1, and are not any additional forces committed to Centcom. |
