As it's ANZAC day I thought I'd share my Peter Pig Australian Coy with you. The tanks need muddying up and the 113s need new guns. There's also an SASR patrol an a few VC[URL=http://s1119.photobucket.com/user/foxweasel1/media/Mobile%20Uploads/IMG_20160425_185357_zpsftt847ub.jpg.html]

Well they are jolly nice. You have more than enough for the new version of "Men of Company B" , the Peter Pig Vietnam rules due out in October. Thanks for posting this.

Thanks for the praise Martin, I really like your figures. For these I used a mix of your Australian troops and the African wars professionals, with a few head swap US troops for the M16 armed ones. They paint up really well.

nice looking force

Very nice figures Foxweasel. I just wish PP did Aussies with SMG and M79's (Hint hint Martin.) if they did I would happily add an Anzac force to my CDS forces.

You can just use the separate jungle hat heads to replace the U.S. M79 and M16 armed figures helmets (see pic) The Owen SMG was only used up til late 66 when it was completely replaced by the M16, which had slowly been creeping in.[URL=http://s1119.photobucket.com/user/foxweasel1/media/Mobile%20Uploads/WP_20160426_001_zpskkh9mkct.jpg.html]

@ Martin

Any chance of Early ear USMC with M14 and the like or ARVN with M1s etc? ;-)

Wargamer Blue27 Apr 2016 6:07 a.m. PST

I'm lobbying for more Anzacs Martin. Especially want some artillery crew and SMG and command figures.

Foxweazel, you nailed the uniforms. Any chance you can share your painting recipe?
Thanks

foxweasel27 Apr 2016 8:40 a.m. PST

Thanks for the praise.
The uniforms were Vallejo 886 green grey with a sepia wash, the webbing lots of different vallejo greens and sepia wash, anything else please give me a shout.
