I've recently made some cheap and easy to construct woodland terrain pieces which I've described on my blog for those who might be interested. link Thanks for looking. |

Those look great! Much more attractive than individual trees scattered about. Any recommendations on storage of the completed pieces? They look a bit large to lay on their sides. |

Those do look VERY nice but what about the regular underbrush, etc…that are often associated with woods?.. I would also like to know how you store them?… |

Underbrush, if enough light comes in, for ex not always the case with tall north American forest. Or deep into some Russian ones. |

Also if you leave off the underbrush, it is easier to place individual figures on the tree bases during games. |

I purposely left the under brush off these pieces primarily because I want to be able to place light infantry/ skirmish type stands on them. I suppose I'm looking for a balance between asthetics and practicality. I can see how the size of the pieces could be a storage problem for some. However, I have plenty of space under my permanently set-up table. |

I have to get cracking on terrain this year. I have started doing something similar but so far have only got as far as gluing trees to mdf bases. I hadn't really thought much about the texturing or other basing elements. Thanks for the inspiration! |
