Hey guys, I'm trying to find the uniform/colors of Gurkha paratroopers. I found this image online but it's all I could find;

Any other information regarding these guys?

Did you hear the tale about the Gurkhas who volunteered for the paras ??? They were asked for volunteers to jump out of a plane….. upon arrival they were pleased and surprised that they were to have 'chutes.

The one I heard was that a battalion of Gurkhas were converted to paratroopers (they weren't asked to volunteer). They were told that the first jump was to be from a balloon at 300 feet. There was unusual murmuring in the ranks. The sergeant major was asked what was wrong. He explained that the men would prefer their first drop to be from 50 feet. He was told that at 50 feet the parachutes would not open. "Oh, we are to have parachutes… That's all right them".
