If you need a shuttle, contact CrossOver Miniatures about his Huron Shuttle. He might have one of the smaller UFO available as well.

A friend of mine used 2 different sized plastic party plates, sprayed them silver, added a WW2 German decal. 🤓

I've got the Pegasus saucer. Goes together dead simple.

Pre-assembly I primed it black then sprayed it with Testors Brushed Aluminum (spray can).

You can put it together with the legs down or without the legs and the leg storage bay doors closed.

Grocery store. Safeway, to be specific, for mine, which have a slightly thinner, swirled, clear cover, instead of the ones shown below in the photos.

Dimensions are 9" wide by 2" thick, overall, for mine.

Those plastic pie containers for fresh pies look surprisingly space saucer like, if you invert them, since they have clear tops (soon to be bottoms of the craft), and nicely ribbed, hull detailing on the bottoms (soon to be the tops of the craft – see photos below).

All I need to finish them off is a nice, shallow, acrylic, plastic dome for the top (which was previously the bottom).

Looking for a smooth, clear dome that is 5" – 5.5" in diameter, and 1" high, roughly.

Anyone know where I can find one of those?

Can't beat free, if you like pie, and/or the $5 USD – $10 USD bucks for it, if you don't. In the latter case, just give the pie to someone who does like it, sans the container.

I'm planning on painting the top part of mine, aluminum, or another metallic color – probably a drybrush to leave some nice darkened areas too.

Add in a couple of aliens, reclined on their "G-couches", underneath the clear dome, and the little project will be done.

The pie container will work for both 15mm, as well as 25mm/28mm figures.

Any tips on where to find a nice, smooth, shallow, clear dome made of plastic, or glass, would be appreciated.

I have one of the Testors saucer kit. There is a also a very simple kit. Just got it for a good price on Ebay.

When the movie Mars attacks came out. The toy line had a nice saucer toy.

Glue two paper plates together. Add extra bits. Spray silver.

I hope you'll go for multiple saucers. And multiple alien species.

I use the Pegasus one for pulp games. It works fine.

Mako, I can see a cartoon of your flying saucer in the hands/claws/tentacles of a giant hyperspace creature, the vehicle's passengers recoilling in fear from the monster's probing chopsticks….

If you are looking for an authentic one, I would suggest a pie pan or a hub cap. These are the most historically correct designs.
