Giving my Muscovites someone to fight, infantry up first, Zvezda 1/72:
Always thought it a shame Zvezda didn't finish off the range with artillery, akinjis and azabs. Probably use Redbox to flesh things out. Undecided about the artillery though.

These would be grand in 54mm! |

@ ochoin – had a look at these, don't fancy them much. Think I'll fill out the force using Irregular 20mm metals. @dBerczerk – yeah if somebody else paints 'em! |

cameronian -- I like your Janissaries in 1/72. With so much available in 1/72 and 20mm, I'm beginning to question the wisdom of my decision to build an Ottoman army in 54mm.

dBerczerk, that's an amazing display on the blog. The bigger figures are visually more impressive and are better made. I use 1/72 because they are convenient and cheap. On the scale side, mine are all over the place, 10mm, 15mm, 1/72, 28mm. Just couldn't settle on one, mainly buy figures because of how they look, rather than what the scale is. I mean I've already got Ottomans in 15mm; link |
