Ran into a problem trying to print an address label on (from) ebay for an APO address this weekend.
Total Fail, canceled the sale, waiting for ebay to apologize.
(Irony intended).
DON'T suggest going to the USPS website, locked out of there on password issues.

Anyone else have similar problems?

You don't need a password to visit the USPS website.

My wife had similar problems with her store and sales overseas. She spent an hour or two on the phone with them, did get an apology and refund on her expenses. No solution of course, but at least it didn't cost her money.

You need an account and password on USPS to print postage.

I gave up and now use Stamps.com for everything. I get a discount which pays for the monthly fee (and then some), I can do media, 1st class and Priority. Very happy with the service.

I just got to the post office… DONE!

Don't do enough volume to justify Stamps(dot) com, averaging ten or less sales a month these days.

A trip to the post office is SEVEN MILES (@$.56 a mile, IRS Rate), aggravation of waiting for all the clueless in line in front of me, all for ONE $9 USD sale? Plus window service (clerk) at the Post Office now requires submission of the multi-part customs forms for APO shipments also. Filled out a few of those for the American Legion.

Most of the local Window clerks know me by name, I did enough foreign shipments in past years. And usually walked in with all my paperwork in order.

And I was "On the road" dealing with family problems, easy to throw a box of my Buy it Now listings in the trunk; Didn't have the hour or two to hunt up a local Post Office, etc.

"They" (Somewhere in the echelons above) have vastly complicated the foreign shipping process. It was GREAT printing out the Foreign shipments without having to go to the window for the least couple of years, (all automated submission of the customs information), but the process did not work for the APO this time, with multiple (Irrelevant) boxes linked on the form.

21e. Yep, free trade for anyone trying to sell INTO our market, invisible (to the customer) barriers to our outgoing shipments. 80% rise in First Class Package rates for us.
