Are there any stores in the KC area that have a decent selection of wargaming items. I am only interested in historical wargaming. Any stores that have a good selection of terrain or painting guides etc. would be good to know about (or figures but I realize this is probably not very likely). I am familiar with Table Top Games in Overland Park but if there are any others please let me know.

Tabletop Games across the state line is very nice. They have a fair amount of historicals. I was just there last week on business and stopped by.

Their website does a good job of not being very informative on the products they carry. All I can find that they offer are some special range of geek tshirts.

There are a few stores, but TableTop probably has the widest variety. Lots of GW, FoW, Warmachine/Hordes, lots of boardgames, some Sails of Glory. I've not had a chance to get to the new location though. It's only a mile or so north of the previous location.

Other stores in area are 31st Century (Olathe) with FoW and GW, but I've not been there in a while.

There is also a GW store in Lee's Summit and another small shop, but I've not been to either.

Thanks for the tips. Sounds like I will definitely stop by TableTop games.
