Confirm what was said in the review, I add only that they are a little disappointing information about Russian army uniforms. |

Yes, The russian army article is good in history and organisation, but lacks the uniforms parts with only one plate and some text, |

A very nice and informative review of the books. I agree with nearly everything that you say, except that you say it much better than I did in my review. Congratulations. Jim |

Folks have centered on my issue with the books. How can you discuss the GNW with so little devoted to one of the major protagonists? Russian uniforms of the period were not yet the sea of green and red they would soon become. |

Folks have centered on my issue with the books. How can you discuss the GNW with so little devoted to one of the major protagonists? Russian uniforms of the period were not yet the sea of green and red they would soon become. It does name several none green/red regiment including blue dragoon. The its more a lack of pictures. The reason is simply they didn't feel the sources where reliable enough to say to much with certainly. And so they give just some general info. |
