Does anyone make in 15mm oval-shielded Italian infantry like Ian Heath's "AMA vol.1" figures 72 and 74? See link and link

I want the 14th-century wasp-wasited profile, light armour or none, unarmoured legs in hose, a suitable helmet, drawn sword or short spear (well, can replace other weapons), and of course the broad flattish oval shield.

While Mirliton make lovely 13th-century Communals and 15th-century condottieri, 14th-century Italians seem few and far between. At a pinch there are some Donnington "brigand" types I can adapt by adding a suitable shield, but if there are any better matches it would be a shame to miss them.

Hmmm, can't say.

I have read of a guy buying some cheap "brads" (short, cheap nails), and cutting the heads off of them, and filing to shape. Apparently, many have oval-ish heads attached to them, instead of round ones.

1.25" roofing nails, apparently:

The nailheads might be David Kuijt's idea – link

I will probably find some simpler method of producing the shields (assuming no suitable figures do indeed exist) – even if it's only buying Mirliton C004 and using theirs (the figures aren't what I want, too much armour and wrong century's fashions).
