So we're returning to our long ago roots. We began with discussing why we'd drifted away from Napoleonics, then talked about maybe giving Empire (rules we used to use) a bash someday, and ended up buying Revolution & Empire while dusting off the hordes of Napoleonic figures. I then decided that my Austrians were smaller than I'd like so it was time to bust out the credit card and order from Front Rank.

I'm part way through the painting and some results can be seen at carnivalempire.wordpress.com

Hopefully I'll remember to take some pictures of the upcoming battle as it should look pretty decent. We'll be at roughly 1,000 28mm Napoleonics a a side on a 6x12 table.

Now you are talking. My favourite type of wargame.
