For several years, Hot Wheels has catered to the adult collector with their line of diecast vehicles covering popular cultural subjects, such as the many incarnations of the Batmobile from the 'Batman' franchise. Although scaled at 1/64, their larger size visually fits in with 25/28mm figures. I've compiled a "wish list" of vehicles I'd seriously like to see Hot Wheels release: 1. From the first 'Mad Max' (1979), Max's yellow Main Force Patrol Interceptor,
…Max's black "Pursuit Special" V8 Interceptor,
…the MFP Pursuit vehicle ("Big Bopper" and "March Hare"),
…and the black Holden Monaro "Pursuit Special" (carjacked by the "Nightrider").
2. Cheech and Chong's "Fiberweed Van", from 'Up In Smoke' (1978).
3. The "Monkeemobile", from 'The Monkees' (1966-68).
4. The "Spinner", from 'Blade Runner' (1982).
How about the rest of y'all? |

I would like to have my metallic red "Live Wire" Sizzler back. Someone stole it from my desk in 5th grade (1970). |

Johnny Lightning has had a Monkeemobile available in Hot Wheels scale for years. They go for about $15 USD on eBay. ERTL did Hot Wheels scale Blade Runner vehicles – Deckard's chase spinner, Bryant's Police spinner, Deckard's ground car, and Rachel's red spinner. They're pretty pricey on eBay. Can't help with the others, but I'd buy them if they were available. Yes, even the Fiberweed Van. |

HW has done multiple version of the Ford Australia Falcon in the last several years. You can kitbash some pretty close Max look-alikes. |

Angus…I know you said "pretty close" though it is a shame you can't get the exact model. The one HW does is off in too many places. I would love to have some Mad Max vehicles. Love the intercepters. I personally can't think of anything to add to the list. :-( Grimm |

Gotta add my all time favorite, the Red Baron! link P. |

Not a wheeled vehicle, but I know Hot Wheels tends to dabble in other stuff too, so, a 1/100th scale SHADO Moonhopper. Of course, I'd be very pleased with one in 1/64th scale as well. |

I still have all of my Sizzlers. Did anyone else get into the Gran Toros 1/43 cars? I got 4 of the cars and one of the boxed double-wide track sets. It's still tucked away in the attic. The Red baron is a definite favorite, too. I have my original, very beat-up Hot Wheels car; a purty new one I bought a few years ago; a Toy Zone 1/43 diecast with the silver chrome helmet (they also do one with a red chrome helmet); and of course several copies of the Monogram model kit: My original build from the late '60s, a more recent, much nicer build, and one still in the box. |

The rides from any of the 'Death Race' movies, be they the cartoony things from the 1970s film or the gun-festooned beasts from the more recent efforts! |
