It was inevitable that I would get the "Doctor" for playing In Her Majesty's Name.

Best Doctor ever!!! Very Disapointed with Peter Capaldi as the doctor. Tho granted both his seasons are bad to, the episodes are silly and just to strange many of them. So that dosent help. Both David Tenneant and Matt Smith played the "loveble doctor" that could go DARK!! Peter Capaldi plays mostly grumpy old man and when he goes dark it's mostly fumbaling and sillyness. |

I used to really look forward to Doctor Who, but with Capaldi I just went through the motions of watching the show. I want a new Doctor… and some better writing. I'm not even wondering when the new series is going to be on, and for a life long fan, that's a big thing! |

Capaldi brings a newish spin on the character. Harkens back to early hartnell's version. Looking forward to seeing who will be the new companion. |

It's a generational thing, I reckon. Personally, although I appreciated the versions of the Doctor played by Tennant and Smith, their seemingly incessant flirting/falling in love with various companions got very old, very quickly. I find Capaldi's crankier, more avuncular Doctor to be a very welcome reference back to the days of Hartnell, Pertwee, and Tom Baker. |
