What's that miniatures battle you keep re-fighting over and over? Not war or period, but that specific battle (historical or fictional) that keeps showing up on your tabletop?

Gettysburg?
Rorke's Drift?
The Alamo?
Kobayashi Maru?
Klemdathu?
Istvaan Dropsite Massacre?

Do tell!

Oriamendi. I've probably played it half a dozen times or more now. It is a great little scrap. As a convention game it is perfect, or nearly so, because most players don't know the battle that well and the BAL players don't know what could be in store for them.

It often plays out quite historically.

I've only played 1 propper game in my enitre 8 year wargaming carrire. And that was just a random match up.

How ever I have solo test played Guilford Courthouse about 4 times.

So my answer is Guilfordcourthouse.

Naseby, Cannae, Gaugamela (Arbela), Trebia, Magnesia, Arsuf, Austerlitz, Leipzig, Waterloo might be then top 10 in a rough order, excluding the games I've done for shows (which get fought dozens of times so would distort the picture … Jerusalem 1099, Zama, Issus, Newbury 1644, Bosworth, Northampton 1460, Bouvines, Yarmuk)

Rifsker--There's a certain element of whimsy involved in clambering up on a whale that has washed ashore and whacking away at the other fellows.
