Working on a new Wooden Wars scenario for upcoming conventions, wherein the British will be attempting to take a shore fort from sea…which kinda requires a ship. WIP the HMS Smeagol!
I've based the Smeagol off of the brig, USS Eagle. I was going to do a sloop of war but realized the sail set up would just mostly be in the way. I'm sure I'll screw up the sail and mast set up anyways, but this is going to be a ship at which rubber balls are hurled at it, not a display piece.
for more pictures and how the play test went down, set course for my blog. skullandcrown.blogspot.com Cheers! Ths |

Looks like a fun time! How durable are the ship models? Do they stand up to repeated broadsides from rubber balls? |

G Dog- She took about 35 hits over all during the play test and held up fine- and she's not done being built and reinforced. I'm very confident that they'll be fine. Cheers Ths |
